PHOTOSHOP

LEARNING TO USE PHOTOSHOP

In e-Comm we started a new unit learning about photoshop. We completed 4 images.

The first project we made was just a simple overlay over an image. This project was very easy and simple. All we had to do was simply to adjust the opacity of the text as well as the images.

The second project we created was a colorful butterfly. This project was definitely harder than the other one since it was hard to use the clone stamp tool on the wings. We started by recoloring the butterfly by adjusting the hues. Then using a new tool, the clone stamp tool, we adjusted the wings to make it
look like it was in motion.

The third project we made was a text mask. We used the text mask tool to type the words NORTHWEST over an image of our school. Then we applied a gradient to the outside of the text. This project was very similar to the first project and was the first time I used the gradient tool.

And the last project we made was a collage. We started by cropping out a light pole in the background of our schools image. It was a new skill we learned and was a lot of fun. Next, we used the magic lasso tool to outline the raven and put it in front of the school and adjust the blend. I then did that with three other images. And lastly I added a dark boarded with the magic paint bucket tool. Overall, this was the most complicated project, but was definitely my favorite because of all the new skills I learned.
